Grown on the ObjectFarm: FarmersMahJongg v0.9 for Mac OS X Server (26.3.1999) With the official release of Mac OS X Server the ObjectFarm will start to port its NeXTSTEP and OpenStep based applications. The first result of this process is this single player version of the Chinese MahJongg game, which was available for NeXTSTEP under the name "Shanghai". Because Activision Inc. claims the rights to this name, the application was renamed but functionally remains identical (feature and bug compatible). A precompiled binary is available at: http://www.objectfarm.org/Activities/Software/FarmersMahJongg/ (Use OpenUp or any other gnutar/gnuzip aware decompression tool.) Source code will be made available (as it was before) with the next release, which will also include a useful online help and potentially some other goodies. This project can serve as an example on how to integrate a C++ (game)engine with an Objective C frontend. ObjectFarm TravelWare License (OpenSource like) Like all my projects this app is free and should be considered as TravelWare. 1. Let it travel to as many people as you know. 2. Send me an E-mail or postcard if you use it. I will try to keep you informed about new releases. 3. If you have a free bed or some free space on your floor...give me a hint. I might come and visit you on my next trip to the US...locations on Hawaii, near Seattle or WhistlerMnt. (Canada) preferred.
