22. February 2002, Tomi Engel ObjectFarm
Wocoa Camp Location

WebObjects 5.1 has brought us the "pleasures" of EJB and Mac OS X has finally become the default operating system on every new Apple computer. Looks like a bright future for the Wocoas - even if you do not have that new iMac-"lamp". So once again there is a lot to sing new chants about and therefor the time is right for the...

4th meeting of the European WebObjects and Cocoa developer community, Wocoa Camp Dreamcatcher and here you can find, what it is all about.

The short description is:

  • it is an almost totally unorganized event
  • free of charge
  • lots of European Wocoa computer nerds
  • and all it takes to get there is to register by sending a smokesignal@wocoa.org ... just to make sure we do not run out of space or food.

All attendees will receive their personal name badge at the event. So if you would like your companies name to appear on it, please let us know what it should be.

The Location

The Pow Wow will take place in the month of the hunger, or more precisely: on the 23. February 2002 in Berlin (Germany). It will start around 13 o'clock and hopefully last until late in the night. Our host this time is:

Accommodation

Since most of you are coming from far away places and will hopefully beat the drum until the late evening, we think that a place to sleep might be something you are looking for.

  • Forum Hotel Berlin
    Alexanderplatz
    10178 Berlin
    Tel.: 030 - 23890

    Note:
The 30th floor offers a great view and it is just 3 minutes away from the location. However, it might be a bit expensive.

  • Hotel Adebar
    Neue Schönhauser Str. 1
    10178 Berlin
    Tel.: 030 - 28046243

    Note:
Nobody from ilink ever stayed there for the night, but the breakfast buffet is quite good. Just 2 minutes of walking distance.

Berlin is huge, there are lots of other hotels too and the city has good public transportation. So there really should be plenty other choices.

See you

This time our Pow Wow is sponsored by ilink, Codeon GmbH, the Objectweavers and the ObjectFarm and we are looking forward to welcome around 60 brothers and sisters ... see you soon ... beat the drums.
